After a short telephone check-in, we depart Maso Corto and head towards the Bella Vista Mountain Refuge via the cable car. Please note: access by car is not possible, so you must arrive by 3:00 p.m.at the latest.
Sleep surrounded by flickering hues of blue, magical snow and candlelight. In winter, when the snow dampens noise and the sound of the mountains changes, we begin building three igloos out of ice and snow nearby the refuge.
Inside these spacious igloos, our guests sleep atop insulated pads and cozy sheepskins, nestled inside expedition-warmth sleeping bags, with a fresh inner sleeping bag made of skin-friendly linen.
In order to turn your night-in-an-igloo into a truly extraordinary experience, there’s a hot drink on arrival, a four-course dinner in the evening, a bottle of Prosecco before bedtime and a sumptuous breakfast buffet in the morning.
As part of the igloo package, a Finnish outdoor sauna and hot water tub are located just outside the door and for your use at any time. The restrooms and Bella Vista itself are very close by, and the doors are always open. Sauna warmth, hot water, a feeling of security: an all-inclusive igloo overnight.
After a short telephone check-in, we depart Maso Corto and head towards the Bella Vista Mountain Refuge via the cable car. Please note: access by car is not possible, so you must arrive by 3:00 p.m.at the latest.
When you arrive at Bella Vista Mountain Refuge, you’ll enjoy a hot welcome drink. Your igloo guide will show you your igloo and explain how to use the expedition sleeping bags properly. We provide these, and they’re covered with a fresh hygienic layer.
Tip: The sleeping bags keep you very warm, so normal pajamas are enough for the night.
At 7:00 p.m. we serve you four-course dinner at Bella Vista. Your fresh expedition sleeping bags are meanwhile prepared, and as soon as you’re ready to go to bed, your igloo guide will accompany you to your house made of snow. The Bella Vista doors are, of course, open also at night; restrooms are located close to the igloo.
From 7:30 on, there's a delicious breakfast buffet available at the refuge. If you’d like to watch the sun rise, you can ask for an earlier wake-up call.
Avid skiers often take advantage of a rare opportunity to enjoy the 7.5-kilometer-long, freshly groomed run before the lifts open. If you want to spend a little time at Bella Vista, you can of course relax in one of the loungers on our sun terrace.
„Spending the night in the igloo is incredible. Incredibly exciting, incredibly beautiful, incredibly different. An extraordinary experience. And the perfect gift for someone you love. ”
